Alyssa should have gotten the magical creatures plots as Phoebe loved magic and it would fit with Alyssa who had done comedic stuff outside of Charmed and Rose was a more dramatic actress than comedic.

Dan is a miserable character. He is jealous and is in fact an asshole. Piper saw that Leo would never be as annoying and trusted him because he is an angel. In the end of the show we get to see Leo's different behavior but the bottom line is he loved Piper til the end. Dan reminded me of my past relationships.
