It only took about 2 days to clear it up but it's not the most pleasant thing to deal with. That was about a month and a half ago, and today I was able to stretch that ear from a 6g to a 4g with a straight taper in one stretch, with no issues (yet). I was at 8g for 6 months and my plugs still felt snug. I slowly tapered in a 6, and my ear got red, swollen and super angry. Had to go all the way down to a 12g.
